Hauslett Agent Codes of Conduct

This Agent Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets the standards required of all agents operating on the Hauslett Platform.

By listing properties or engaging with renters through Hauslett, you agree to comply with this Code.

Hauslett is a structured rental process platform.
Operating within it requires discipline, accuracy, and integrity.

1. PURPOSE

This Code exists to:

  • Protect renters from fraud and pressure tactics
  • Protect agents from unserious bookings
  • Maintain structured listing standards
  • Enforce platform integrity

Agents who do not align with these principles may not operate on Hauslett.

2. LISTING STANDARDS

Agents must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful property information
  • Complete all required structured data fields
  • Disclose all required fees transparently
  • Avoid misleading descriptions
  • Ensure listing photos accurately represent the property

Prohibited:

  • Fake listings
  • Duplicate listings meant to manipulate visibility
  • Inflated or hidden fees
  • Misrepresentation of property condition

Hauslett may remove listings without notice if standards are breached.

3. AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENT

Agents must:

  • Have authorization to list the property
  • Be able to provide proof of representation if requested

Listing without authorization may result in immediate suspension.

4. INSPECTION CONDUCT

Inspections coordinated through Hauslett must follow platform protocol.

Agents must:

  • Attend confirmed inspections on time
  • Respect Field Officer coordination
  • Avoid high-pressure tactics
  • Avoid requesting unrecorded payments during inspections
  • Treat renters professionally

Prohibited:

  • Demanding advance payments outside the platform
  • Threatening renters
  • Attempting to bypass inspection recording
  • Harassment or intimidation

Hauslett Field Officers may report misconduct.

5. PAYMENT COMPLIANCE

Agents must:

  • Complete transactions through the Hauslett platform
  • Avoid diverting renters off-platform
  • Avoid requesting direct transfers that bypass platform safeguards

Bypassing the platform:

  • Removes transaction protection
  • Violates platform policy
  • May result in permanent removal

Hauslett enforces transaction integrity.

6. PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR

Agents must:

  • Communicate respectfully
  • Avoid discriminatory language
  • Avoid harassment
  • Maintain honest negotiations

Discrimination based on protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.

7. DATA INTEGRITY

Agents must not:

  • Manipulate listing data to gain unfair visibility
  • Circumvent structured listing requirements
  • Provide incomplete required fields

Structured data is central to Hauslett’s model.

8. COMPLIANCE & ENFORCEMENT

Violations may result in:

  • Listing removal
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to relevant authorities (if applicable)

Hauslett reserves discretion in enforcement decisions.

Repeated non-compliance may result in suspension of account and removal from the platform.

9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By operating on Hauslett, agents acknowledge:

  • The platform enforces process
  • Structured compliance is mandatory
  • Protection depends on cooperation

Agents unwilling to operate within these standards should not use the Platform.
